Outlawed Terms

Terms I will outlaw when I become dictator-for-life:

"diva"

"face-time"

"working" (a problem, as opposed to working *on* a problem)

anything with "izzle" in it, except "drizzle"

"drizzle"

"issue" (unless it's a verb or about a magazine)

"par-tay"

"da bomb"

"tragedy" (exceptions made for actual literature)

"eco-[anything]"

"homeland"

"Gitmo" (unless the speaker is acutally in the military)

"inappropriate" (appropriate uses have all but disappeared)
